Accuracy and religious guidance

Timings are computed with published astronomical algorithms and verified against authoritative published tables (see About), but panchang conventions differ between regions, sampradayas and publishers. The dates and windows shown here are reference information, not religious instructions. For matters where the exact minute matters — vows (vrat), weddings, house-entry, or any ceremony — consult your family priest or tradition before acting.

Dating conventions and disagreements

This site follows stated, published conventions (Udaya Tithi at local sunrise, Smart treatment of kshaya) and discloses known disagreements between authorities on the affected pages. A date that differs from another calendar or a government holiday list is not necessarily an error; the pages explain the two readings where they exist.

Advertising and analytics

The site is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense, and usage is measured with Google Analytics. Advertisement content is chosen by Google and its partners; we do not review or endorse the products advertised, and an advertisement appearing next to a page is not a recommendation of it. No warranty

The site is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or decision arising from use of the timings or content shown.

Acceptable use

• You may use the site freely for personal, family and community purposes.
• You may quote individual timings and dates with attribution and a link to the source page.
• Bulk copying of tables, systematic scraping, republishing site pages, or reselling access to the data is not permitted without written permission.
• The JSON endpoints exist to power the site’s own pages; heavy automated use outside the site may be rate-limited.

Content and trademarks

Site text and computation code are the property of Panchangly. Festival names, deity names and calendar terminology are traditional and free for anyone to use; we claim no ownership over them.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site evolves; the current version is always this page. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
