What each Choghadiya is good for
Amrit
Best — all auspicious works, prayer, meditation, beginning medicines
Shubh
Good — ceremonies, house-related works, spiritual deeds
Labh
Good — business, trade and financial dealings
Char
Neutral — travel, movement and vehicles
Udveg
Avoid new beginnings; routine administrative work only
Rog
Avoid important work; conflicts and health matters need care
Kaal
Avoid — new ventures and journeys are discouraged
If a good Choghadiya overlaps Rahu Kaal, tradition gives Rahu Kaal priority: postpone the activity to another Amrit or Shubh segment outside the Rahu window. The two systems answer different questions — Choghadiya ranks the quality of a time span, Rahu Kaal marks a span to avoid altogether.
